BLOOMNIGTON, Ind. – The University of Colorado's women's tennis team had a strong day of play recording five wins in singles and five wins in doubles, during the second day of the IU Winter Invitational here at the IU Tennis Center.
Overall the Buffs went 5-3 in doubles and 5-3 in singles during their solid second day.
What Happened in Doubles: In the first draw of doubles the pairing of junior and senior Nuria Ormeno Ruiz, who defeated the Marquette pair of Silvia Ambrosio and Fleur Eggink, produced CU's first win after they took the match 8-6.
