Kroenke's KSE to buy Denver radio stations KOOL 105, The Wolf, Mix 100

Denver-based Kroenke Sports & Entertainment will buy Denver radio stations KIMN-FM 100.3, KXKL-FM 105.1 and KWOF-FM 92.5 from Wilks Broadcasting for an undisclosed amount, the companies announced Monday.

Pending regulatory approval from the Federal Communications Commission, KSE the owner of the Pepsi Center, the Avalanche and the Nuggets sports teams, will take control of the three FM outlets.

It is unknown how the staffs of the stations, known as Mix 100, KOOL 105 and The Wolf, will be affected. However, no format changes are planned.

In a statement, KSE Media Ventures president and CEO Matt Hutchings said, "When these stations became available and were offered to us, we thought they would be a great addition to our media holdings.
