After splitting a short two-game home stand, the Avs (9-13-1) head to New York to take on the Islanders (12-8-4) in game one of a four game trip.
Saturday night the Avs earned Patrick Roy his 100th career coaching victory with a 5-3 win over the Winnipeg Jets. Led yet again by their top line, the Avalanche notched five goals and manage to save themselves from letting a 3-0 lead slip away. The Avs now return to the road where they will play their next four games.
The four game trip starts off against the Islanders Monday night.
