Avalanche captain Gabe Landeskog, who will miss his eighth consecutive game Saturday night, skated on his own and briefly joined his teammates on the ice at the morning skate. The Avalanche faces the Dallas Stars in the final game of a five-game homestand.
The Swedish winger, who has been out with a lower body injury, skated with the Avs for a few minutes before returning to the dressing room. That at least seemed to be a positive step.
