All anyone talks about these days in relation to Colorado Avalanche defenseman Tyson Barrie is whether he’ll be traded and how much he’ll receive either in salary arbitration or settlement.
Well, Avalanche GM Joe Sakic has said that the team is not trading Tyson Barrie, and truthfully there’s no reason to — the team could get two years out of him since he’s still a restricted free agent. At the end of two years, he’d still be an RFA, but primed for trade value.
As far as how much the Colorado Avalanche will have to fork over for Barrie, that’s still up for speculation.
