Avalanche prospect Tyson Jost doesn’t play nice

Ok, I think it’s safe to say Tyson Jost has recovered from the injuries he suffered from running into a goal post last month. The 18-year-old center, and top Avalanche prospect, was on fire last night for the University of North Dakota, tallying one assist and two goals, including the spectacular game-winner.

Jost’s first goal was an absolute snipe after making a nice play along the boards and skating into open space. He has his head up, and is ready to deliver a pass back out front, but quickly realizes he’s being given room and seizes the opportunity to shoot—a quality lacking throughout much of Colorado’s current roster.
