Ok, we don’t like the St. Louis Blues. The Colorado Avalanche had such difficulty beating them last year, and this season was only marginally better. Witness:
We, the Avs Nation, need the St. Louis Blues to do our dirty work, though. We need the St. Louis Blues to exit the Minnesota Wild first round. If they could do so in a very embarrassing manner — such as by sweeping them and/or blowing them out — all the better.
So, since we don’t have the Colorado Avalanche to root for, let’s cheer for whomever is playing the Wild — in this case the Blues.
