CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Minnesota isn't exactly balmy in late January.
The bodies of water that give the Land of 10,000 Lakes its nickname will likely be frozen over and covered in white blankets of snow when Ryan Merritt and his fiancee, Sarah, tie the knot.
But if Tribe fans can brace the frigid weather, consider this a light-hearted quasi-invitation. Heck, they already cleaned out the couple's wedding registry. When Merritt checked the list on Friday morning, only three gifts remained.
In appreciation of Merritt's ALCS Game 5 contributions, fans seized the registry and supplied the couple with every last blender, dish towel and oven mitt on the docket.
