Tribe's Miller (knee), Salazar (elbow) put on DL

CLEVELAND -- Two important arms have been shelved for the Indians. Prior to Tuesday's game against the Red Sox, Cleveland placed relief ace Andrew Miller and starter Danny Salazar on the 10-day disabled list.

Miller left Monday's 5-4 win over the Red Sox after only seven pitches when he re-aggravated the patella tendinitis in his right knee, which was the culprit behind a stay on the DL earlier this month, too. Salazar, who missed roughly two months earlier this season with a right shoulder issue, has been diagnosed with right elbow inflammation this time around.
