Tribe avoids arbitration with four pitchers

Those signings came one day after the Indians avoided arbitration with reliever Dan Otero on a one-year pact worth $1.055 million. MLB.com confirmed that Allen's deal is worth $7.35 million and McAllister's pact is for $1.825 million. Shaw will earn $4.6 million, per Heyman.

On Thursday night, the Indians settled with starter Trevor Bauer on a one-year, $3.55 million contract. Right fielder Lonnie Chisenhall and outfielder Brandon Guyer are also eligible for arbitration.

After exchanging salary figures on Friday, teams can still reach an agreement on a contract at any point leading up to a player's scheduled hearing.
