Cleveland Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis left tonight’s game against the Boston Red Sox game due to right hamstring tightness, per multiple sources on Twitter.

Kipnis was mysteriously pinch-hit for in the third inning, but the assumption as injury caused by running out a ball in his first at-bat of the game.

The All-Star second baseman has had hamstring issues all season — he missed almost all of July with hamstring tightness.
