Cleveland Indians pick left-hander Hoby Milner, lose five in Rule 5 Draft

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. - The Indians may have filled a need Thursday in the Rule 5 Draft, but they took a beating as well on the final day of the winter meetings.

After selecting left-hander Hoby Milner from the Phillies with the 27th pick in the first round, the Indians lost five players in the Major League and Class AAA phase of the draft.

Baltimore, in the second round of the MLB phase, took outfielder Anthony Santander. In the first round of the Class AAA phase San Diego took right-hander Trevor Frank and Arizona picked right-hander Jon Fitzsimmons.
