The Cleveland Indians haven't won a World Series championship since 1948. Now, they're just one more win away from ending that streak.
Corey Kluber pitched another gem and the Indians gave him plenty of run support as Cleveland dominated the Chicago Cubs for a 7-2 win in Game 4.
Chicago got the scoring starting in the bottom of the first inning, as Anthony Rizzo hit a bloop single to center that drove in Dexter Fowler. However, they were unable to score the rest of the inning, and the Indians quickly evened the score as Carlos Santana hit a solo homer to lead off the top of the 2nd:

Cleveland would push another run across in the inning, then followed up with another run in the top of the 3rd thanks to a RBI single from Francisco Lindor to give them a 3-1 lead.
Cubs pitcher John Lackey managed to stop the bleeding for a few innings, but Cleveland pushed another run across in the top of the 6th on a sacrifice fly from Lonnie Chisenhall. Then, in the 7th, the Indians really broke the game open with this three-run homer from Jason Kipnis:

Dexter Fowler hit a solo shot of his own in the bottom of the eighth off Andrew Miller, but that was the only offense the Cubs could muster for the rest of the night.
Kluber pitched six innings, and only gave up five hits with that lone run. Santana led the offense with a 3-4 night and that homer, while Kipnis went 3-4 and three RBIs. Lindor also went 2-4 with an RBI.
For the Cubs, Fowler (2-4), Rizzo (2-3) and Jason Heyward (2-3) each had multi-hit games, but the rest of the lineup didn't have a single hit.
Game 5 is set for Sunday night at 8:15 pm on FOX. It will be the last game at Wrigley Field before the series shifts back to Cleveland for Games 6 & 7, if necessary.
