Indians News: Cleveland, Corey Kluber Agree On Five-Year Contract Extension

The Cleveland Indians will have 2014 AL Cy Young winner Corey Kluber at the front of their starting rotation for years to come after agreeing to terms on a long-term contract extension that is expected to be made official by Opening Day.

Per Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports, the deal will be for five years with two club options tacked on to the back of it:

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed as of this writing.

Kluber, 29, posted a 2.44 ERA and 269/51 K/BB ratio in 235.2 innings during his award-winning 2014 campaign.
