Cleveland Indians Rumors: Potential Landing Places for David Murpy

Last season the Cleveland Indians brought in David Murphy to be their primary right-fielder. The plan was for him to platoon against right-handed pitching with Ryan Raburn handling duties against left-handed pitching. For a time the move appeared to pay off, at least on the Murphy side. He hit very well at the start of the year and thru May batted .269/.366/.429 with 5 homeruns, 11 doubles, and 31 RBI in 52 games. However, things took a major turn in June as he hit just .185/.266/.235 in June with zero HR and just seven RBI.
