Indians centerfielder Michael Bourn has been moved to the No. 9 spot in the lineup for the first time in his career for Sunday's game against the Detroit Tigers.
Bourn is hitting .180 this season and hasn't made much solid contact in the last couple games. It's the first time he hasn't hit leadoff since June 28, 2011, when he hit second in the order with the Houston Astros.
Jason Kipnis will hit leadoff Sunday.
