USA Basketball begins a series of exhibition games against Argentina on Friday night in Las Vegas, NV. This is the first of five exhibition games that team USA will play before heading to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the 2016 Olympics.
Team USA has had great success in international competition since fielding the “Dream Team” in 1992, posting a record of 117-7, according to the USA Basketball archives. In that span, they are 14-2 against Argentina’s national team with the two losses coming in the 2002 World Championship and the 2004 Olympics.
