Sir’Dominic Pointer to Play in D-League for Charge

The Cleveland Cavaliers drafted Sir’Dominic Pointer late in the 2nd Round of the NBA Draft. While his draft status didn’t decide anything, it was a sign of how hard it would be for the guard to make an NBA roster as a rookie. Pointer played with high energy in Summer League, something he was known for in college as well.

However, with the Cavs roster basically full (one roster spot will likely come down to Jared Cunningham and Quinn Cook) Pointer was blocked from making the roster. Instead, according to a report on Cleveland.
