As you can imagine, this year’s Media Day – the annual lights-camera-action start to Cavaliers Training Camp – had a vastly different feel. That’s what happens when the following season tips off less than three months after a Championship Parade.
For the first time in team history, the Wine and Gold enter the upcoming season – as Kevin Love put it – as the “hunted and not the hunters,” having taken the 2016 title in unforgettable fashion. But as the squad expressed, to a man, the time for celebrating the Championship is past and the time for focusing on the next one is at hand.
