Cleveland Cavaliers Officially Sign Chris Andersen

The Cleveland Cavaliers have officially announced the signing of free-agent center Chris Andersen.

Per Chris Fedor of cleveland.com, the veteran has signed a one-year deal with the Cavs on the veterans minimum salary.

Andersen, 38, who won n NBA Championship as a member of the Miami Heat in 2013, last played for the Memphis Grizzlies where he played 20 games, averaging 4.6 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Throughout his career, Andersen has averaged 5.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game in 683 games.

Cleveland will be Andersen’s fifth team in a 14-year career which has seen him play for the Denver Nuggets and New Orleans Pelicans in addition to Miami and Memphis.
