Cavs Weekly: Cleveland Back To Winning Ways

The Cleveland Cavaliers snapped two-game losing streak with a win over the Suns on Monday, and now enter the new year on a two-game winning streak. Let's get you up to speed with the week that was and the week ahead with our Cavs Weekly update:

Last Week:

The Cavs closed out a four-game road trip at Phoenix on Monday and at Denver on Tuesday, pulling out close victories in both games. Kyrie Irving hit a big three with 21.9 seconds left in the fourth quarter to lift Cleveland past the Suns 101-97, while LeBron James' 34 points carried the Cavs past the Nuggets by a score of 93-87.

What's Next?

Cleveland starts the new year with a two-game homestand, facing the Orlando Magic on Jan. 2 and the Toronto Raptors on Jan. 4. From there, they start a six-game road trip in Washington on Jan. 6.

Cleveland is as healthy as they've been all year as only point guard Kyrie Irving is listed on the injury report. He sat out of their win over Denver as he continues to comeback from a fractured kneecap he suffered in Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Irving is expected to sit out of one game of back-to-backs for the remainder of the season.
