Cavs Notebook: Cleveland Looking To Rebound After Win Streak Ends

The Cleveland Cavaliers have had continued success under new head coach Tyronn Lue through the first two weeks of his tenure, reeling off a five-game win streak before having that snapped by the Charlotte Hornets this week. Let's get you up to speed with the week that was and the week ahead with our Cavs Weekly update:

Last Week:

Cleveland's biggest test under Lue came Saturday night in another ABC primetime against the San Antonio Spurs. Many were expecting a close game, but Cleveland came out and dominated from the opening tip, cruising to a 117-103 win behind LeBron James' 29 points and seven assists.

The Cavs then capped off their win streak with a 111-106 overtime win over the Indiana Pacers, giving them their first win in Indianapolis since 2010. However, they followed that up with a disappointing 106-97 loss to the Hornets in which they lost a nine-point halftime lead.

What's Next?

The Cavs have returned home for a five-game homestand, staring with a playoff rematch against the Boston Celtics tonight. They then host the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday, Sacramento Kings on Monday, and Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday before the All-Star break. Read more Cavs news in the Chat Sports iPhone and Android apps.

Injuries:

Backup point guard Matthew Dellavedova has been ruled out of tonight's game against the Celtics with a hamstring injury and is officially listed as day-to-day. He also missed Wednesday's loss to the Hornets.

Reserve shooting guard Joe Harris is expected to miss at least another two months after having surgery on his right foot earlier in January.
