Report: LeBron James recruiting Kevin Love to Cleveland

Trade talks between the Cleveland Cavs and Minnesota Timberwolves regarding Wolves big man Kevin Love have intensified over the past 24-48 hours, with the Morning-Journal's Bob Finnan reporting that the Cavs are willing to part with #1 pick Andrew Wiggins in a potential deal between the two teams.

In addition, per Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the returning LeBron James has reached out to Love himself in attempts of getting him to sign off on coming to Northeast Ohio on a contract extension:

The Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly had labeled Andrew Wiggins as untouchable in previous trade talks with the Timberwolves, but it seems that the desire to win now coupled with LeBron's insistence about pairing with Love could be enough to change Cleveland's tact.

According to Finnan's sources, "the latest offer could include Wiggins, power forward Anthony Bennett and a first-round pick. Center Brendan Haywood might be included in the deal to make it work contractually."

Nothing is confirmed as of this time, but LeBron's involvement could signal that things are getting quite serious...stay tuned.
