Dellavedova Will Be Out 4-6 Weeks With Knee Injury

Cavaliers backup point guard Matthew Dellavedova suffered a knee injury against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, and now we know that the suffered an MCL strain and will miss 4-6 weeks.

Dellavedova didn't play but remained with the team for the remainder of their road trip (loss to Jazz, win over Nuggets) before being evaluated when he returned to Cleveland.

The Cavs' bench may have taken another hit Friday night, as Dion Waiters suffered a lower back contusion against the Nuggets. He's questionable to play Monday against the Pelicans.

Dellavedova is averaging 2.7 ppg and 2.3 apg so far this season. Newly signed Will Cherry has taken over the backup point guard role for the Cavs.
