Cavs News: Cleveland Waives Guard A.J. Price

The Cleveland Cavaliers announced that they have waived guard A.J. Price Saturday afternoon, cutting their roster to 14.

Price averaged 7.2 ppg and 1.5 apg in 13.3 minutes a game this preseason.

Price was drafted 52nd overall in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Pacers, and spent the first three seasons of his career in Indiana. He signed with Washington in 2012, where he started 22 games for the Wizards. Price spent last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves in a reserve role.
