Cavaliers Sign PG Will Cherry

The Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to sign point guard Will Cherry to a two-year deal, according to reports.

Cleveland made room for Cherry by waiving veteran guard A.J. Price earlier today.

Cherry played for the Cavs' D-League affiliate - the Canton Charge - last season, averaging 11.6 ppg and 4.5 apg.

He played on Cleveland's summer league team and was on the Toronto Raptors' preseason roster until they cut him before the regular season started.

The University of Montana product went undrafted in the 2003 draft largely due to a foot injury.
