I want to start this column by saying I never want to accuse anyone of seeking help for any other reason than a desperate need for it. If someone is addicted to something, claiming he or she has ulterior motives for checking into rehab is heavy criticism, and not a claim anyone should really feel comfortable making.
Despite this, the actions of Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel are making it tougher and tougher to avoid such a thing.
Manziel, an admitted addict, entered into rehab this past winter when issues with alcohol derailed his rookie season.
