Josh Gordon has only played in five out of a possible 32 games for the Cleveland Browns over the past two seasons as he continues to deal with substance-abuse issues.
This week Gordon met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to presumably talk over his upcoming appeal to be reinstated to the Browns, which Gordon can formally file on Aug. 1.
The Browns, judging from their actions during the 2016 NFL Draft have wisely realized that they cannot count on Gordon, and that waiting around for him is foolish.
