Browns complete largest draft class since 1979 with 14 picks

Already positioned with double-digit picks after they were rewarded three compensatory picks, the Browns traded their way to the biggest draft class in 37 years.

Cleveland put the wraps on its 14-man class with the selection of Scooby Wright, a linebacker from Arizona, with the 250th overall pick. He was the ninth selection on a busy Saturday that included two more trades, four fourth-round selections and four fifth-rounders.

“I think it has been a tremendous few days for us,” Browns coach Hue Jackson said. “We set out to strengthen our team, to improve our team in a lot of different areas, and I think we have accomplished that.
