Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney is glad his team is one of the four teams in the College Football Playoff. Obviously, he is excited to have a chance to play for a national championship for a second straight year, but there are some monetary reasons on why he is glad as well.
With a return trip to the College Football Playoff, Swinney has already earned $700,000 in bonuses and a national championship could increase that by another $700,000. In other words, the Tigers’ head coach is in position to earn more than $1 million in bonuses for a second straight year.
