Clemson defensive end commitment Xavier Thomas of Florence, who attends IMG Academy in Florida, tweeted he avoided serious injury in a single car accident in West Virginia on Monday.
Thomas tweeted that he swerved to miss a deer, hit a ditch, flipped his car and hit a tree. Thomas tweeted he was not wearing a seat belt but walked away with just bruises and scratches. Thomas tweeted he was just a ½ mile from his hotel and that’s why he didn’t have on his seat belt and he vowed to always wear his seat belt in the future.
