Clemson’s coaching staff has taken to the recruiting trail this week in the wake of winning a second straight ACC Championship, and on Wednesday, Clemson co-offensive coordinator and receivers coach Jeff Scott traveled to Georgia to check in on a topflight wide receiver.
Scott paid a visit to Frederica Academy in Saint Simons Island, Ga., to see high-four star receiver Jashawn Sheffield, a top-10 prospect in the 2019 class.
Sheffield told The Clemson Insider that he enjoyed Scott’s company and appreciates his appearance at the school.
“It means a lot,” Sheffield said. “I really like coach Scott.
