DURHAM, N.C. — Clemson pitcher Clate Schmidt continues to pitch one gem after another. After going 8 1/3 innings in last week’s win at Notre Dame, the senior followed it up by going 8 2/3 innings against Louisville in Friday’s 5-3 victory in the ACC Championships at Durham Bulls Athletic Park in Durham, N.C.
Schmidt told The Clemson Insider after the game he made sure he had plenty of sleep before facing the Cardinals and also how his performance against them on April 15 motivated him on Friday.
