Four-Star LB Rahshaun Smith Commits To Clemson Over Auburn, LSU

Four-star linebacker Rahshaun Smith (Bradenton, FL) verbally committed to the Clemson Tigers during the Under Armour All-American Game. Smith chose Clemson over Auburn and LSU.

Smith had originally committed to Clemson early in his high school career, but chose to decommit in August and re-opened his recruitment. Since then, he took official visits to Oregon, LSU, Clemson, Maryland, and Auburn.

The commitment gave Clemson's class ranking a big immediate boost, moving them from No. 20 to No. 14 in the nation, according to 247sports.

The 6'3", 239-pounder is ranked as the No. 2 inside linebacker in the country and No. 74 overall prospect.
