The Joe Nuxhall Memorial Honorary Star of the Game
On a pretty depressing day for the Reds we'll give co-TJNMHSotG honors to Brandon Phillips and Scott Schebler. In the top of the second Phillips and Schebler connected for back-to-back solo shots that were Cincinnati's lone runs of the game. For Schebler, the home run was his third in the past two days. It was Phillips first long ball since August 6. Cincinnati only compiled three other hits on the day.
Honorable mentions: Hmm.... Tony Cingrani pitched a scoreless inning in relief.
