MESA, Ariz. – The Cincinnati Reds won their second consecutive high-scoring affair, beating the Oakland Athletics 11-6 in a split-squad game Saturday at Hohokam Stadium.

The Reds broke a 6-6 tie with a two-run seventh on doubles by LF Leon Landry and 1B Sebastian Elizalde and a triple from C Stuart Turner. Cincinnati added three insurance runs in the ninth on a bases-loaded sacrifice fly from C Chris Okey and a double by RF Jose Siri.

THE ARMS

In his final Cactus League start, LHP Amir Garrett struggled. Garrett allowed seven hits and six runs over five innings, walking three and striking out four.
