ST. LOUIS – Mat Latos knew he had to change this offseason.
If nothing else told him, Major League Baseball did. At one point, Latos could dream of the $100-million-plus contracts former teammates Homer Bailey and Johnny Cueto have received, but instead, has found himself in six different uniforms since he last stepped on the mound for the Reds in 2014.
The latest uniform is that of the Toronto Blue Jays. He signed a minor-league deal with Toronto at the start of spring training and after two starts in Triple-A, has made two starts for the Blue Jays.
