The day after Jay Bruce hit two triples in a game, another rare occurrence happened in the Cincinnati Reds’ game today: Johnny Cueto was off his game.
Cueto found himself in a 3-0 hole after only four batters, allowing an RBI double to Freddie Freeman and a two-run home run to Kelly Johnson. The Reds’ allowed another run in the third on a solo shot by former Red Jonny Gomes that left the park in what seemed like about a second.
