Notes: Bengals wait on another opposing QB; Reggie eyes Fulcher

After announcing Josh McCown is out for the year with a collarbone injury Tuesday, Browns head coach Mike Pettine is waiting to make a call on starting Austin Davis or Johnny Manziel Sunday (1 p.m.-Cincinnati’s Channel 12) against the visiting Bengals.

If it is the 26-year-old Davis, who is 3-5 as a starter, he would be the 15th Browns quarterback to start against the Marvin Lewis Bengals in the 26th game of the series. Manziel became the 14th last Dec. 14 in Cleveland, when he made his NFL debut in a 30-loss and is 0-2 against the Bengals with a 49 completion percentage, an average pass of 4.
