PHOENIX – When a vote from the owners’ meetings shows up at 31-1, often the first thought would be why Bengals’ owner Mike Brown decided to vote against.
As the vote approving Oakland’s move to Las Vegas came down on Monday at this year's NFL Owners’ Meetings at the Biltmore Hotel and Resort came down, 31-1, it wasn’t Brown voting against. This time it was Miami owner Stephen Ross.
In this case, Brown understands the Raiders’ situation and saw the reality clear as the lights from the Las Vegas strip.
“It was destined to pass,” Brown said.
