Back in early June, Cincinnati Bengals rookie Brandon Wilson had hoped his left knee would be healed enough to participate in the organized team activities and the mini-camp.

Now, the knee the sixth-round pick out of the University of Houston injured just moments into his NFL career during position drills will keep him out for an undetermined amount of time.

On Wednesday, the Bengals placed Wilson on the active/non-football injury list. He will still count against the team's 90-man roster limit and can practice as soon as he is medically cleared to do so.
