Last week, COTP pointed out how bad the midfield logo at Nippert Stadium looked due to the fact that it is a different shade of green than the rest of the field [see photo below].
Now, UC has reached out via its Fan Central Twitter account to clarify that this section of turf used to be the same color as the rest of Nippert Stadium’s playing surface, and will hopefully be again sometime in the near-ish future.
