The Cincinnati Bearcats slogged their way to a 69-51 win over Central Florida, which you’d never know from the box score.
UC did wind up winning by 18, a margin that would suggest dominance on both sides of the court. But it took them until the first media time out of the second half to really exert that dominance.
Central Florida is a team sorely lacking in depth and talent as it compares to our Bearcats. They lean so heavily on just a few players that when one of them is absent due to foul or injury, like Adonys Henriquez, they crumble.
