The 2015 preseason coaches poll was released this afternoon, yet another indication that we’re right around the corner from the best time of the year. Good riddance, baseball!
Even more encouraging is that the Cincinnati Bearcats got a little publicity by receiving a vote in the first poll of the 2015 football season. It’s not much but it’s better than nothing (hi, Memphis!) and they’re not lower than any other AAC team (hi, Memphis!).
But what was certainly a shot in the gut is the sheer number of teams ahead of them in the rankings, in particular other Group of Five schools climbing over one another for the illustrious Access Bowl spot.
