The news of Deshaun Morman leaving the Cincinnati program isn’t new. It wasn’t even a new rumor. There were rumblings of Morman leaving the team last season before he ultimately returned. The redshirt freshman guard contributed off the bench, quite famously during the two tournament games against Middle Tennessee and Ole Miss, where Morman scored a total of 20 points over the two contests. That was nearly a fourth of his season point total. Deshaun would have solid games in losses against VCU and Memphis, 18 total points, before even more sporadic playing time kept him on the bench.
