The next offensive lineman we’ll bid farewell to is #65 Tyreek Burwell. I know we’re going a bit out of order here, what with us saying goodbye to #71 Eric Lefeld yesterday, but the precedent of my being unable to count has been pretty much set. So I’m just going to roll with it at this point.
Burwell came to Cincinnati as a tall, oversized tight end from SUNY Cortland University, who he committed to coming out of high school in Huntington Station.
I know you’ve heard this before but it’s a fact of life in college football; tight ends are many times converted to offensive lineman at the collegiate level like with Cory Keebler.
