As Yoan Moncada rode with Jose Abreu from O'Hare Airport to the South Side on Wednesday, the new White Sox second baseman received his first taste of what it will be like to live in Chicago.
"It was a little traffic on the way here to the ballpark," Moncada said through a Sox interpreter. "There was a lot of construction too."
Moncada will have to make plenty of adjustments as he transitions from the top prospect in baseball at Triple-A Charlotte to an everyday player with the Sox, but the 22-year-old was cool as ever in his first media session at Guaranteed Rate Field.
