White Sox, Todd Frazier settle on $12 million deal: report

The White Sox have agreed to a one-year, $12-million contract to avoid arbitration with third baseman Todd Frazier, according to a report from FanRag Sports’ Jon Heyman.

Frazier hit .225 with 21 doubles, 40 home runs, 98 RBIs and a .767 OPS in 2016, his first year with the Sox after arriving via trade from the Reds. This is his last year before he hits free agency.

Frazier is one of several players who could be traded at some point over the next year as the Sox move further into rebuilding mode.
