Chicago White Sox manager Rick Renteria will inherit another young team in the midst of rebuilding this season. Renteria previously managed a then rebuilding Cubs team in 2014, his lone season as manager on the North Side.
With Spring Training underway, Renteria offered his thoughts on the current rebuild and future of the Sox to Scott Merkin of whitesox.com. Renteria stated the Sox will have more commitment to give a tremendous effort this upcoming season. The first year Sox manager mentioned the team will hustle and be prepared to play the game they hope fans will require them to play.
