Wait is finally over for Carlos Rodon, White Sox on Wednesday night

Carlos Rodon had too much free time for his liking in Arizona in April and May when he wasn’t rehabbing from left biceps bursitis or watching the White Sox from his couch.

The Sox left-hander even tried right-handed bowling a couple of times to occupy himself during the wait.

“I think my high score was a 114,” Rodon said.

Needless to say, Rodon is thrilled to return to his primary sport Wednesday as he makes his first start of the season against the Yankees at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Since his lone Cactus League appearance in March before he was diagnosed with his injury, Rodon has made just four minor-league starts.
